KCCIU's Strategic Transition Into Coffee Farming

Building on its success in grain production, the Kazini Community Care Initiative Uganda (KCCIU) has strategically expanded into the coffee sector, specifically focusing on Robusta coffee. This move is a central pillar of KCCIU's long-term goal to diversify household income and transition rural communities from seasonal crops to high-value, export-oriented perennial commodities.

Planting

We support farmers with organized seasonal planting programs that promote higher productivity, food security, and sustainable agricultural practices within communities.

Quality Seeds

Our members access certified and high-quality seeds that improve crop yields, increase resilience, and ensure better harvest outcomes for farming households.

Plowing

Through mechanized farming support and tractor services, we help farmers prepare land efficiently, reduce labor costs, and improve production capacity.

Farming Inputs

We provide access to essential farming inputs including fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation support, and modern agricultural tools to enhance productivity.

Grain

We support grain production and post-harvest management to improve food quality, reduce losses, and increase market value for farmers.

Training & Monitoring

We provide continuous training, field monitoring, and technical support to farmers and entrepreneurs to ensure improved productivity, accountability, adoption of modern practices, and sustainable agricultural performance.

Monitoring

Our field teams conduct regular farm monitoring and technical support visits to ensure quality production, accountability, and improved agricultural performance.

Grain Aggregation & Storage Silos

We aggregate grain from farmers to strengthen collective marketing power, improve pricing opportunities, and reduce post-harvest losses through proper storage silo facilities.
